LANDLORD AND TENANT
If you are a landlord or a tenant then at some stage you will need to consider the options available to you at rent review or lease renewal.
Our professionally qualified surveyors will advise you regarding legislation and valuation issues to enable you to achieve the best possible result. This includes advice on rental levels appropriate to new leases, lease renewals and rent reviews. The buoyant economy has resulted in significant rental growth over recent years. Where a lease provides for the rent to be reviewed (often every three or five years) it is important for the new rent to be agreed at the correct level. This preserves the value of the landlord's investment but equally should be appropriate and agreeable to the tenant ensuring that it is fair in comparison to other premises in the locality. Rent reviews are frequently difficult to resolve between a landlord and tenant.
We can also offer useful advice to both landlords and tenants when leases come up for renegotiation. Careful planning and advice given in good time can ease the otherwise traumatic, and often expensive, procedure of lease renewals.

LAND COMPENSATION CLAIMS
Storers have been representing Claimants under the Land Compensation Act Part 1 1973 for 10 years. At present we are acting throughout the Midlands for various Highways Agency and County Council Road Schemes. These have included the Hinckley Northern Perimeter Road, Derby Southern and Doveridge Bypass, Leicester.
We can offer a professional and efficient service offering advice on the Valuation and technical points relating to the Part 1 Claims. The knowledge and experience that the Practice has means that the Claims can be successfully dealt with from start to finish, thus minimising the burden on the Claimant and ensuring a fair and positive result. The service and your legal fees are paid for by the compensating Authority. It is worth noting that we only receive a fee on a successful result.
